This stunning poster features a lovely watercolour view of couples walking along the West Cliff, looking down to the esplanade, beach and pier, with the church and old town in the centre.
Edward Wesson was born in London in 1910. He started painting aged 20, and became one of Britain's best 20th century watercolour artists. He was also a busy teacher and writer on art. He exhibited widely in the 50s and 60s, and produced quite a few works for British Railways and the Post Office Savings Bank.
