""The Vis" Loose Leaf binder" manufactured by Waterlow & Sons. Mechanism comprised of two retractable bolts. Leather with gilt embossed UndergrounD workmark branding. Measures 28cm x 24cm. Excellent condition, some scuffing at the edges.

This wonderful survivor was produced for the UERL (Underground Electric Railway of London) who controlled some (but not all) of the Underground railways in London. Waterlow & Sons were the main printer of maps and posters the UERL so it makes sense they were also a provider of branded stationary.

This would make the most superb folder for an antique Underground map collection.
